As I mentioned in my first blog, the Houston Texans will be an absolute dumpster fire in 2021. They somehow assembled the oldest and the worst roster in the league. The team could only manage four wins in 2020, and that was with the superb quarterback play of Deshaun Watson. He likely won't play this year, due to legal issues. That means third round pick Davis Mills or journeyman quarterback Tyrod Taylor will lead the Texans this year. No matter how you spin it, the Texans will be atrocious. They have the worst quarterback situation and probably the worst head coach in the NFL. The skill positions are weak, and the secondary is awful. The offensive line is a bottom-ten unit. All meaningful position groups grade well below league average. According to Sharp Football Analysis, the schedule is the third-hardest in the league, too. I love this team at +225 odds to have the worst record in the NFL. It was posted at +225 on DraftKings, but I've seen this number anywhere between +175 and +250 at various times in the offseason. Anything in plus money territory is worth a wager in my opinion. Sprinkle some money on a winless season as well. It is currently +2000 on DraftKings. A challenging schedule, along with a bad head coach, a terrible quarterback room, and the worst roster in pro football, is a recipe for disaster. Look to bet anything at plus money on this team to be terrible.
Best Bet: Texans to have worst record +225
Other Bets: Texans under 4.5 wins -145, Texans to go 0-17 +2000, Texans finish last in division -375
